Republic of San Marino
I didn’t ride a Ferrari, but I bought a hat in San Marino.
The Republic of San Marino is a small independent country surrounded by Italian territory. The Capital city, San Marino, is on the rugged Mount Titiano. It's known for its "medieval walled old town and narrow cobblestone streets."

It has the world's oldest constitution and one of the smallest countries in Europe, yet one of the richest countries in the world. Because it is small, San Marino can be explored on foot. However, there is a small tourist train that can bring you to the main sights. There is also a cable car to see the areas that surround Mount Titano.
There are 3 Towers on Mount Titano, overlooking the Adriatic coast. They are Guaita, De La Fratta, and Montale. The Guaita is the oldest among the towers and the most famous.
Shopping in San Marino is tax-free, meaning it's cheaper to shop. There are several markets to do window shopping, but the most famous is the Borgo Maggiore Market.
I still remember those days I was here enjoying the beauty of this small country. In fact, I did some shopping, and this Ferrari hat was one piece of remembrance from this travel.
I lost my photos from this trip, but I still have some great memories. It was just a short trip during my first Europe tour in 2014, but I know I had a great time. I would love to go back for sure to enjoy more of this beautiful country.
